Traditional Urn $675.00– Model BG-T2000
Actual Size 9 1/4″ x 6″ x 6″ – 230 cu. inch capacity
The general rule of thumb is for every pound of a persons total weight you will need one cubic inch of space but even very large people usually fit in a 200 cubic inch urn.
Please understand these are made as they are ordered. As of now we are not sure of the wait time, but we do know it is at least two-three weeks. Please call with any questions.
1. Transfer the remains yourself - Most people are able to fill the urn themselves. It is very easy and can help with healing from the loss. The funeral home or crematory will give you the ashes in a temporary cardboard or plastic container. Inside the temporary container you will find that the ashes are contained within a plastic bag. The bag of ashes can usually be placed right into the new urn without ever having to touch the ashes.
2. Have the funeral home or crematory transfer the remains - If you give your funeral professional the urn they will transfer the remains for you.
3. When outside help is not available and you are not comfortable filling the urn yourself, you may mail the ashes to Vermont Marble and Granite and we will transfer them for you. Always mail ashes by USPS registered mail.
